Strogij is a cyrillic font mapped in CYRILSCII encoding standard. It has a full set of characters of English and Ukrainian/Russian/Bilorussian/Bulgarian alphabets. It is a new, superb sans-serif based on the English font Avant-Garde. Perfect for logos, business cards and body text. A great amount of care was put into its creation and so far the results were very satisfactory.
This package includes a PostScript Type I version of the font and Cyrillic keyboard. Under System 7 all you have to do is drag all three files (font suitcase, PostScipt file and keyboard layout) into the System Folder. The Finder will ask you if you want to put them into appropriate folders. Click yes. That's it! Now restart your computer.
Under System 6 you have to use Font/DA Mover to move Strogij bitmap file into the system. Drop PostScrip file into the System folder. As to keyboard file, you would have to open it with the ResEdit, then open the system file and copy all the resources from the keyboard file into the system file. Save the changes and restart your Mac. Now you can switch the keyboards through the keyboard control panel.
Keyboard mapping is a standard Russian/Ukrainian version.
Strogij is a shareware and costs $25. For this money you will also get bold, italic and bold italic versions of Strogij, all merged into one family. Reasonable custom keyboard orders will be accepted.
